Helibras is a subsidiary of Airbus Helicopters, an Airbus Group company, the leading provider to the world helicopter market. The company is the only Brazilian helicopter manufacturer and accounts for almost 50% of the Brazilian fleet of turbine helicopters. With several bases across the country and more than 500 employees, its factory has a production capacity of 36 light aircraft and 12 heavy aircraft per year, with models for civilian, government and military segments.
The Challenge
Helibras was facing problems with document management since it was done manually and without the support of software.
The Solution
To overcome the problem, Helibras adopted the SoftExpert Document, a complete electronic document management solution that manages the entire content lifecycle, from creation to archiving or disposal, offering the most complete functions for every stage of the cycle.
The Results
The platform is used by 530 users across all areas of the company.
According to Ana Andrade, Quality Analyst at Helibras, the company improved its document management with SoftExpert Excellence Suite, which also assists the company in the maintenance of ISO, ANAC and other certifications.

The tool also assists in the maintenance of Quality and Aviation certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, AQAP 2110, ANAC RBAC21, ANAC RBAC145 and ANAC RBHA142, as well as DMAVEX, DAERM and DIRMAB certifications, granted by the rigorous organs of the Armed Forces, which assure that Helibras is qualified to carry out interventions on its aircrafts.
