Select the component, a trigger and get started automating
Want to understand how it works a little better? It all starts with selecting the component you want to apply the rule to, which could be: Audit, Configuration, Training, Document, Kanban or Workflow.
The next step is to choose a trigger. Trigger? What’s that? Well, a trigger is an event that you choose to start the automation. Want to see an example? Let’s assume you have chosen the Kanban component. Your trigger could be:
- When the step of an activity is changed
or
- When an activity is created
From that point, your automation will start. Select a condition, that is, a requirement for the trigger to start the automation and, subsequently, an action, which is an event that occurs as a result of the action of the trigger and the condition. That’s it, your business rule is ready! It’s that simple!
