Tired of relying on email to log in? Discover the new MFA via the app feature! If you’ve ever wasted time searching for an authentication code in your email or found the process inconvenient, we’ve got great news! With version 2.2.3, you can now use apps like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Previously, MFA was only available via email, which limited flexibility and required constant access to your inbox. Now, with app-based MFA support, the login process is faster, safer, and more convenient.
What’s new with this update?
- Enhanced security:
The new method uses temporary and exclusive codes generated directly by the app, making authentication even more robust against threats.
- Daily convenience:
Say goodbye to email dependency. With a simple tap on the authenticator app, you can access your account quickly and effortlessly.
- Optimized experience:
The login flow is now more efficient, reducing steps and offering smoother navigation.
How does it work?
During self-registration, account activation, or when an existing user configures MFA, a QR Code will be displayed for scanning with the authenticator app.
Once set up, you’ll have immediate access to the new authentication method without needing to repeat the process.
Where will it be available?
This feature will only be enabled in environments with MFA activated and can be configured on the Authentication screen (CM008).
The advantages of multi-factor authentication
In addition to increasing security against unauthorized access, the new method simplifies the login flow and facilitates data management in integration processes. Perfect for those looking to protect their information with ease.
Update your system now and enjoy all the benefits of this new feature! If you haven’t configured MFA via the app yet, don’t wait—make your login experience safer and more efficient.
