With SoftExpert Suite version 2.1.8, access controls for the Administration, Incident, Problem, Process, Performance and Action Plan components will be defined using permission profiles.
This means that controls are defined directly within categories and classifications, and are now defined in the permission profile, which is associated to categories.
If any adjustments need to be made to permissions, just change the controls in the profile and the new setting will immediately take effect in all of the related categories and classifications. This new features makes it easier to manage and reuse established security standards.
In order to create and manage access profiles, a new menu item will be available in each component.
