So you can learn a little about SoftExpert’s operations around the world, starting today, we are going to begin a series of blog posts about the company’s global operations.
To start off, let’s talk about our operations in the UK.
The subsidiary was inaugurated at the end of 2018, in Liverpool, the third largest city in England, located in the central region of the United Kingdom. The goal was to expand SoftExpert’s operations in Europe, given that more than 70% of the city’s economy is focused on the services sector. Liverpool was chosen as the headquarters of the operation due to the region’s strategic geographic location, with Scotland to the north, London to the south, Wales to the west and in close proximity to Ireland, facilitating the company’s visibility and international expansion.
In the first two years of operations, which focused on promoting the SoftExpert brand in the countries that make up the United Kingdom, the company attained positive results. The organization is investing in strategic negotiations to attract new customers as well as partnerships.
We spoke with William Kinder, Business Development Executive at SoftExpert UK, who cites some examples: “With respect to new clients, in addition to Climate Fund Managers, from the financial sector, who use our risk management platform both in the Netherlands and in South Africa, we are in an expansion phase with the Dinex group in Denmark, which uses our Quality Management solution in Finland and will expand its use to India, China, Russia, Turkey and Latvia, demonstrating strong product loyalty and the capacity to multiply demands from a local scope to a global approach.”
SoftExpert also has important partnerships in the Nordic region, with Enviatec and Ideatrim in Denmark and Taha Solutions and Services in Norway. The company also has a strong presence in the Flanders region of the Netherlands, which has grown over the last quarter, in addition to the strategic partnership with QI Solutions for a local approach to new customers.
Currently, the unit continues to negotiate with major market players, with emphasis on the automotive sector, as well as the rail, medical equipment and food & beverage sectors, with the goal of closing new deals in the second half of 2021.
