Unification of SoftExpert Calibration and Maintenance: simplifying asset management

Published in March 20th, 2023

SoftExpert has a new release that makes the management of maintenance and calibration of your organization’s assets even easier. With the new version 2.2.0 of SoftExpert Suite, the management of asset activities has changed in relation to the SoftExpert Maintenance, SoftExpert Calibration and SoftExpert Asset components.

Now, the activities are centralized in a single component. This means that the entire SoftExpert Calibration structure and the some of the SoftExpert Asset activities can be accessed through the SoftExpert Maintenance component. Isn’t that great? This will make your daily work routine a lot easier! Let’s take a look at the new features?

Unification of the SoftExpert Calibration and Maintenance components

Although some activities in each of the components are different, the way the components work is very similar. Up to version 2.1.9, users had to browse different locations in the system to enter a registry or perform an activity.

With version 2.2, in response to customer requests, SoftExpert decided to centralize all data related to asset activities in a single component. Now you can set configurations and execute activities without the need to access another component.

Will SoftExpert Asset also be integrated into Maintenance?

The SoftExpert Asset component was partially integrated into Maintenance. The asset tool was also updated during the integration process of the new 2.2.0 version, but only the menus related to the activity were impacted, such as model activity registration, verification plan registration and search of downtime records. Menus such as asset definition, inventory and asset query are unaffected.
