Aporte Nutricional increased the productivity of its operations with technology by SoftExpert, a provider of software and services for automation and improvement of business processes, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

With the solution, the company optimized the routines of collaborators and increased document management efficiency and reliability, to help maintain its ISO 9001 certification and the ONA Qualification Seal – Health Services Manual).

The company operates in the segment of human nutrition for prevention, treatment and maintenance of health, producing their Nutrição Enteral product line and distributing various other lines, such as their infant, adult, golden age, athlete and, especially, clinical nutrition.

According to Ana Cristina Ruas de Araújo, Quality Assurance Manager at Aporte, the company used to monitor its documents manually, which meant that the sector was unable to keep track of the large volume of data.
“In 2009 we attained ISO 9001 Quality Certification and, in 2012, the ONA Qualification Seal – Health Services Manual, which we still have. To maintain these certifications, we began by manually monitoring Documents, Records, Indicators and Action Planning. Over time, we realized that we were unable to control all the routines defined in the action planning, which resulted in the bureaucratization in the management of documents, processes and risks. Furthermore, a lot of time was spent on transferring data to the network, where the employees have access to the Aporte Quality Assurance System,” Ana explains.

Currently, about 70 users use SoftExpert Excellence Suite (SE Suite). The solution is present in all company processes, both inside and outside the company, from the Purchasing sector and Production to the Deliveries sector. According to the manager, the processes for the handling and verification of the effectiveness of the planned actions, performance evaluations, meritocracy and internal climate were optimized, allowing for greater visualization and management of the indicators, audits and training, resulting in an increase in the efficiency of the improvement cycle as well.

“With SE Suite we have a greater competitive advantage because we have gains in productivity, time, customer visibility and agility in the Aporte Quality System Management. This provides us with greater agility for the integration of processes and their activities, as well as the identification of new barriers and greater quality in the critical analysis of risks. In addition, all the parameterizations of the tool were performed according to the Aporte Quality standard,” Ana confirms.
