Check out this article for news on the latest version of SoftExpert, featuring brand new integrations with the SoftExpert Kanban and Project components.

With the launch of version 2.1.4, SoftExpert is announcing news regarding SoftExpert Suite integrations. The Workflow, Incident and Problem components now provide new possibilities to integrate with SoftExpert Kanban and SoftExpert Project.

Starting now, the connection between components is no longer solely associative and has become more sophisticated. Below you can see how these integrations will work and how they can benefit users:

SoftExpert Kanban

When activities are being executed in Workflow, Incident or Problem, the user will be able to create other activities directly in SoftExpert Kanban.

In this case, the process will be able to be configured to wait until the activity is closed in SoftExpert Kanban. When this happens, the process activity will be automatically executed and the flow will continue without requiring user intervention.

SoftExpert Project

Integration works similarly in the case of projects. When executing activities in Workflow, Incident or Problem, the user will be able to plan new projects in SoftExpert Project. When the project is finished, the process activity is automatically executed and the flow continues to the next step.

During configuration of the process, the user will be able to configure project planning so that it only closes pending execution of an activity in Workflow, Incident or Problem, therefore making it possible to automatically close planning.

In addition, any change to the project’s status, such as cancellation or suspension, also changes the related process.
